TORONTO — Globus and Cosmos are shining the spotlight on Italy with a “massive” sale and booking incentive that will make the destination more appealing and affordable than ever in 2018.

In effect until Nov. 7, 2017, clients booking any Globus Italy tour (with the exception of Escapes by Globus and multi-country tours) will be eligible for a $799 airfare (taxes included) from a choice of 10 Canadian gateways. The $799 fare applies to scheduled carrier flights from Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax. Other gateways are available for $75 to $125 surcharge. Globus must book the flights.

Alternatively, clients who book by Nov. 28 will enjoy a 10% discount off the tour price, a savings of up to $1,028 per couple.

Globus has 15 tours to Italy on offer, including the best-selling ‘Best of Italy’ and the new 10-day ‘Sicilian’.

Cosmos is also singing the praises of ‘la dolce vita’. When clients book between Sept. 13 and Oct. 17, 2017, they’ll receive a $50 thank you for booking early. Solo travellers can either enjoy a $200 reduction off the single supplement, or take advantage of the company’s Guaranteed Share program.

Next year, Cosmos will have 11 Italian tours on offer, including three new choices: ‘Gourmet Tuscany’, ‘Apulia – The Heel of Italy’, and ‘Rome, Florence and Venice’. There’ll also be the company’s bestseller – ‘Italy’s Best’. Price start at $999, plus airfare.
