MIAMI — Palace Resorts is gearing up for its fourth annual Palace Experience Global Conference, which will take place for the first time this year at its signature resort in Ocho Rios from Oct. 1-4.
Moon Palace Jamaica is Palace Resorts’ first property outside of Mexico, and has already been named a AAA Four Diamond resort since its opening. The resort will welcome travel agents, tour operators and industry insiders from Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Latin America and Europe, all of who will learn more about the brand over the course of four days.
Headlining this year’s agenda is keynote speaker Devon Harris, captain and founder of Jamaica’s national bobsled team, which competed in the 1986 Winter Olympics and was the inspiration behind the Disney film ‘Cool Runnings’. Other noteworthy guests include Mike Marchev, Stuart Cohen and Rachel Rowley, who will provide key takeaways on how to maintain customer loyalty, convert e-leads into sales and personalizing leads to close the sale.
In addition to workshops and motivational speeches, all attendees will experience Jamaica first hand with excursions of their choosing. These include Konoko Falls, Mystic Mountain, snorkelling, Chukka River tubing, Sun Valley Plantation or swimming with the dolphins on property, all of which guests can book using the Palace Resorts signature $1,500 resort credit.
In between seminars and fun in the sun, agents will also meet with Palace Resorts executives and attend informative presentations about social media strategies, selling destination weddings and more. The latest news about Palace Resorts will be highlighted, including a new partnership with Certified Angus Beef and scheduled performances by the Backstreet Boys on Dec. 29, and ‘The Illusionists’ from Dec. 22, 2017 through Jan. 3, 2018, both taking place at the Moon Palace Arena in Cancun.
The closing events will include a black-tie gala, where top agents will be presented awards for Top Destination Wedding Travel Agency, Top Home Based Travel Agency, Top Producing Travel Agent, Top Producing Travel Agency, Top Producing Destination Agent-Mexico, and Top Producing Destination Agent-Jamaica.
