MONTREAL — Transat moved up 42 positions, from 162nd to 120th, in the 2017 Forbes’ list of Canada’s Best Employers.

Transat joins WestJet, Air Canada and Sunwing on this year’s edition of the Forbes list.

The top 10 included Queen’s University, Toronto Hydro, Costco Wholesale and Google.

Other travel companies making the list were Caesars Windsor (#46), Marriott Hotels (#95), Starwood Hotels (#108), Hilton (#154), Intercontinental Hotels Group (#209), Flight Centre Canada (#235) and Delta Hotels & Resorts (#266).

Forbes surveyed more than 8,000 employees at companies with more than 500 staff for the 2017 list.
