NEW YORK — Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has announced a slew of new properties to its expanding portfolio, with travel agents banking commissions that range from 10-20%.
In the Caribbean, SLH welcomes The Manoah Boutique Hotel in Shoal Bay, Anguilla, featuring rooms priced from US$350 per night. Having just opened in December 2016, the hotel is wowing guests with its 25 bedrooms and suites, an Olympic-sized swimming pool surrounded by tropical gardens, two beach bars, a spa and the Ocean Beach Club Restaurant, which serves fresh seasonal produce.
The Reef by CuisinArt in Anguilla opened its doors in November 2016 with 80 suites directly on the Caribbean Sea. Amenities include an on-property hydroponic farm, beachfront bar and restaurant and a white sand beach with dramatic outdoor Jacuzzis. Rooms start at $500 per night.
Le Barthélemy Hotel and Spa is SLH’s first property in St Barth’s. The hotel opened its doors last November with 46 rooms and suites that open out onto private terraces and swimming pools. Another perk: The hotel’s spa has partnered with luxury French skincare brand La Mer. Rooms start at $648 per night.
In St. Kitts and Nevis, SLH welcomes Paradise Beach Nevis, which has the distinction of being the only villa resort on the island. The resort is child friendly and features villas that accommodate up to eight people. Each of the seven villas boast a marble or limestone bath, king beds, sound system, fitness studio, dining rooms, private pool and Hermés bath products. Rooms start at $876 per night.
Point Grace Resort and Spa in Turks and Caicos is also new to SLH. With rooms priced from $460, this upscale property boasts 25 suites, all of which span over 1,000 square feet, two restaurants, the Thalasso Spa, and fine dining at two restaurants.
For an extra exotic touch, SLH now includes Kokomo Island in the Kadavu Islands, Fiji. Dubbed as Fiji’s newest and most exclusive private island resort, Kokomo Island opens in March 2017 and is the first SLH hotel in Fiji. Selling features include 21 villas, three restaurants, spa, and excellent diving (the resort is encircled by the Great Astrolabe Reef). Rooms start at $1,795 per night.
In Europe, SLH has added two new properties: Naxian Collection Luxury Villas and Suites in Naxos, Greece, and Sikelia in Pantelleria, Italy. The former – a chic hilltop retreat with 10 sugar cube white villas and suites – offers cave-like rooms priced from $288 per night, while the latter – built out of an ancient dammuso – has rooms priced from $360 per night.
