MONTREAL — As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations Transat will be holding prize draws throughout the year to award 30 surprise trips to travel consultants across Canada.

Three trips will be drawn each month from February to November, with one draw in Quebec, one in the Ontario-Atlantic region and one in Western Canada.

“Travel agents have been key Transat partners since the company’s beginnings,” said Denise Heffron, Vice-President, National Sales and Commercial, Transat Tours Canada. “That’s why we decided to make them part of our 30th anniversary celebrations and show how important they are to us.”

Transat has chosen one milestone date in its history for each of the next 10 months for each surprise trip. On the morning of each ‘surprise day,’ the company will notify travel consultants that every Transat product booking – either flights, packages or cruises – made that day will earn them one chance to win a trip.

There will be one trip drawn per month in each of the regions (Quebec, Ontario-Atlantic and West). The names of two other agents, having also booked a Transat product on the surprise date, will also be drawn randomly to earn $30 in Bonbon rewards. All of the winners’ names will be announced a few days after the surprise date.

No registration is required; contest entry is automatic as soon as a consultant sells the product. Transat says it has a variety of surprises and special activities planned throughout its 30th anniversary year.
