TORONTO — TICO has added a new date in Toronto to its schedule of Open Forum Sessions, which are being held to gain insight from industry members in order to enhance the legislation that regulates Ontario’s travel industry.

During each session, a number of priority issues will be discussed, including registration, financial requirements, the compensation funds, e-Commerce and education standards.

The session is free of charge and all Ontario travel agency owners and travel agents are welcome to attend. Snack and refreshments will be provided.

The remaining dates are as follows:

• Toronto/Mississauga, Jan. 24 from 2-4:30 p.m., TICO Offices (2700 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 402, West Tower)
• London, Jan. 26 from 4-6:30 p.m., Delta London Armouries (325 Dundas St)
• Toronto/Mississauga (new), Feb. 2 from 4-6:30 p.m., TICO Offices Offices (2700 Matheson Blvd E, Suite 402, West Tower)
• Cambridge/Kitchener, Feb. 8 from 4-6:30 p.m., Four Points by Sheraton (210 Preston Parkway)
