MONTEGO BAY — Rewarding top-selling Jamaica Travel Agent Specialists from Canada, the U.S. and the UK for all their hard work, the Jamaica Tourist Board gave 50 agents the royal treatment at Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa in Montego Bay as part of a three-night reward getaway that included tours, world-class dining and shopping. The agents were flown to Jamaica and honoured in style as part of the JTB’s One Love Rewards program.

The vacation concluded with an ‘All White Affair’ gala where the top selling agents were presented with artwork specially designed by Jamaican artist Everald Powell.

Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism Hon. Edmund Bartlett, in bringing greetings, lauded the group for their significant contribution to the island’s tourist industry. He noted that as a group, they helped the destination achieve what has been a record-breaking year, noting that total room nights booked by the Top 50 agents was nearly 115,000, which earned the island in the region of US$25 million. An impressive 13 Canadian agents qualified for the reward, with 12 attending this year’s event.

Jamaica’s One Love Rewards Program serves as a dedicated training platform for the travel agent community to become certified experts on the destination.
