TORONTO — Just last week, WOW air, Iceland’s only ultra-low coast airline, announced that its newest European destination for Canadian travellers would be Cork, Ireland. And now, a few days later, the airline has announced that tickets are on sale for Brussels, starting at $199.99, including taxes.
“We’re pleased to offer Canadians access to the capital of Europe at a fantastic price,” said Skúli Mogensen, founder and CEO of WOW air. “Brussels is a great city – multicultural and multilingual – with a lot to offer. Everyone will feel right at home.”
Flights are available from Montreal and Toronto. Brussels is just one of the European capitals that the airline connects with Canada via a short stopover in Iceland. WOW air’s capacity will more than double in 2016 to over 1.8 million, up from approximately 840,000 in 2015.
The airline services 31 destinations across Europe and North America including Dublin, London, Paris, Berlin, and Copenhagen, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, Boston, Montreal and Toronto.
