The covered reasons are: death involving the passenger or the passenger’s travelling companion, business partners or the passenger’s immediate family member; or a covered sickness or injury involving the passenger, the passenger’s travelling companion or business partner; or the passenger’s family member which necessitates medical treatment at the time of cancellation and results in medically imposed restrictions, as certified by a legally qualified physician, which prevents participation in the trip.
