Winter weather overnight is causing delays or cancellations at Toronto’s Pearson airport and authorities are advising passengers to check their flight status.

According to flightaware.com as of 10:20 EST, 52 flights have been cancelled leaving Toronto’s Pearson airport, while another 70 flights scheduled to arrive today have been cancelled.  A total of 59 flights have also been delayed.

There also appears to be noteworthy flight cancellations at LaGuardia airport (70 cancelled flights) and Montreal-Trudeau (46 cancelled flights).

The storm that hit Ontario and Quebec last night is now moving towards Eastern Canada.
