TORONTO — The Globus family of brands – Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways – has launched an online travel education program at Travelweek’s Learning Centre and has a proven record of helping agents increase sales.
There are three different courses to choose from with a chance to win an Apple iPad Mini with retina display for each course completed.
“Since the launch of each of our specialist courses, we’ve seen, on average, a 30% increase in sales from agents who have taken the courses. If an agent or agency is serious about increasing their revenue, specialising in selling the Globus family of brands can make them extremely profitable,” says Kim Clarke, Globus family of brands’ Director of Sales, Canada.
At the GFOB University, travel agents can familiarize themselves with the Globus family of brands, increase product knowledge and improve their bottom-line.
The first course available is the Monograms Booking Agent teaching agents all about independent vacation solutions. Agents who complete the course will earn their MBA and become an Independent Travel Specialist.
Globus Tour Expert is a workshop that delves into the lucrative Tour Market, with lots of advice on how to tap into the market. Upon completion agents will be experts in selling Globus and Cosmos tours.
The third course is the Avalon Waterways Specialist Program. This new content will demonstrate how Avalon Waterways is different, explore the product offering by destination and help agents sell river cruises.
“There is a lot of very helpful information available at the GFOB University, which helps agents become more comfortable selling the product and understanding how it fits their clients’ needs,” says Devin Kinasz, manager of the Learning Centre.
