TORONTO — Vacation.com has more than 1,700 member agents featured on its revamped website with 250 member agents being from Canada.
Going live in June of 2015, the online tool enables Vacation.com members and their agents to introduce themselves and their travel expertise to consumers via Vacation.com. Members personalize their unique profiles to attract consumers seeking their expertise online, including their destination knowledge, their travel specialties, industry certifications, customer service philosophy and key Vacation.com supplier partner brands they sell to comprise their Agent Snapshot.
Knowing that client ratings are key to attracting new travellers, agents can ask their past clients to post reviews and ratings on their profile on vacation.com. The site has received over 7,400 reviews from clients across the 1,700 snapshots.

Cal Warren, President of Travel With Us, Edmonton, said he was skeptical about Agent Snapshot but since joining received a call as a direct result of Agent Snapshot from a consumer looking for a cruise specialist to discuss a river cruise. The consumer booked an Avalon Rhine River cruise at 18% commission.
Elena Rabenok, President of Leximco Travel, Toronto, received a phone call from a client requesting a wedding quote for 50 guests travelling to Jamaica after joining Agent Snapshots.
