SANTIAGO DE CUBA — The Cuba Tourist Board took a group of bestselling agents from Toronto and Montreal on a familiarization trip to explore the island beyond the surf and sand.

They had the chance to experience the Authentic Cuba outside of the all-inclusive resorts and tour many of the historical cities scattered throughout the island, such as: Santa Clara, Remedios, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Sancti Spiritus, Camaguey and Santiago, many of them World Heritage sites.

Agents also had the opportunity to appreciate the Cuban cultural heritage, rich in tradition and diversity. It is this rich and complex heritage that has made Cuba’s cities such architectural jewels, said the tourist board.
