CALGARY — WestJet and Sabre Travel Network have reached the basis of an agreement that will continue to give travel agents access to WestJet fare content in the Sabre travel marketplace.

Last year WestJet issued a notice of termination when the current contract expired on Jan. 26.

“In appreciation for continuing support by travel agents, WestJet is offering an additional two-percentage point increase on base commissions for new bookings beginning Jan. 26, 2014, through to Feb. 28, 2014,” said the carrier.
