DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is setting its sights on India with the upcoming launch of its newest luxury river cruise ship, the Ganges Voyager II.
Set to debut in January 2016, the 56-passenger, all-suite vessel will sail India’s Ganges River on Uniworld’s newest itinerary, the 13-day ‘India’s Golden Triangle & the Sacred Ganges’, which includes a seven-night cruise and five nights in upscale Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. While on this voyage, passengers will see Delhi’s Humayun’s Tomb, the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Jaipur’s City Palace, and Mother Theresa’s home and tomb in Kolkata.
The new ship features high-ceilinged suites, each of which comes with hand-painted murals, sitting areas and French balconies with floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Guests will also find customizable pillow options, marble bathrooms with rain showers, robes, flatscreen televisions, on-demand movies, individual climate control and spa-quality bath products.
Other accommodations onboard include the one-of-a-kind, 400-square-foot Maharaja Suite, two Viceroy Suites measuring 360 square feet, two Heritage Suites at 280 square feet, as well as 20 Standard Suites at 261 square feet. Suite guests enjoy daily butler service, laundry service and one complimentary spa treatment per person.
