MONTREAL — GoDubai has just celebrated its first and successful year and the coming months will be dedicated to business development in Ontario.
Patrick Corriveau, GoDubai Sales Director, and his team, will provide training sessions in the coming months and will travel in the Greater Toronto Area on a monthly basis to continue to increase awareness of their product.
GoDubai is a wholesaler and a tour operator specializing in this destination which now attracts 79 million visitors annually. The Quebec market became quickly interested in this specialist and travel agents represent 95% of the business volume. “I spend more than half of the year in Dubai and I know the smallest corners,” says Corriveau.
Air Canada’s service to Dubai complements flights to the region by Etihad and Emirates. “And, in Dubai, a traveller can enjoy optimum luxury or a simple vacation that is cheaper than in the Caribbean or certain destinations of Europe,” adds Corriveau.
GoDubai now offers 14 packages (only three one year ago).
Since last January, GoDubai, has partnered with MSC Cruises. Thanks to this partnership, travellers can benefit from 10 departures from the month of December 2015.
“Dubai, it is as if the world had gathered in the same city. All nationalities and religions can be found there. And unlike some preconceived ideas, there reigns a warm atmosphere and its people are open to the world,” said Corriveau.
Highlights of Dubai include Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world at 828 metres and the Mall of Emirates, one of the most extravagant and gigantic malls of the country where clients can see the largest aquarium in the world and buy grams of gold.
