ORLANDO — Universal Orlando Resort has officially opened the doors to its newest property, the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel.
The Mediterranean-inspired hotel is located within the all-new Universal Epic Universe theme park and features 500 rooms, including suites themed around the animated film, How to Train Your Dragon.
Part of Universal Orlando’s Signature Hotel Collection, Helios Grand includes multiple dining venues – such as Flora Taverna, Aurora Market, and the poolside Lotus Lagoon – as well as a zero-entry pool, hot tub, cabanas, game room, fitness centre and the Universal Studios Store. Guests can also unwind at Bar Helios, the rooftop venue offering panoramic views of Epic Universe.

Ideal for families and theme park enthusiasts, the hotel offers a dedicated entrance into Epic Universe directly from the lobby (valid park admission required). Guests also receive exclusive Universal hotel benefits, including Early Park Admission – set to expand to Epic Universe starting May 23, 2025 – plus complimentary shuttle service to Universal’s theme parks and CityWalk.
Universal Epic Universe, Universal Orlando Resort’s fourth theme park, is set to open on May 22, 2025.
