TORONTO — Sunwing Vacations and its primary airline partner, Sunwing Airlines, celebrated International Women’s Day this past weekend with two flights operated by an all-female flight deck and cabin crew.
Both flights took off on March 8, 2025, from Toronto to Montego Bay and Montreal to Cancun.
The Toronto flight was led by Captain Janice MacSween, Lexi Tibbetts (First Officer), Stephanie Bourgeois (Cabin Safety Manager), Sabrina Baribeau (Flight Attendant), Stephanie Tatiana Kraner (Flight Attendant) and Darya Soufian Abdollahi (Flight Attendant).
The Montreal flight was led by Captain Jessica Kessler, Tridha Aravind (First Officer), Kim Arcand Beaudoin (Cabin Safety Manager), Helene Cormier (Flight Attendant), Maria Ostrowska (Flight Attendant) and Louise Malo (Flight Attendant).
Sunwing Airlines First Officer, Jessalyn Teed, who played a key role in organizing Saturday’s flights, said the day held extra significance for the company.
