TORONTO — Downtown Toronto’s Jazz Bistro was the perfect venue for the latest Saint Lucia Tourism Authority event, offering attendees an insider’s look into the highly anticipated 2025 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival.
As SLTA’s CEO Louis Lewis told Travelweek in an interview earlier this week, the Caribbean island is gearing up for its most famous festival, a world-renowned gathering of music greats. This year’s event runs April 30 – May 11 with a star-studded lineup that includes Earth, Wind and Fire, and John Legend.

The festival took a three-year hiatus from 2020-2022, and made its triumphant return in 2023.
Last night’s cocktail party at the Jazz Bistro also marked the industry’s celebrations of Saint Lucia’s 46th Independence (Feb. 22).
The event was hosted by Consul General Henry Mangal along with Lewis and SLTA Chairman Thaddeus M. Antoine, plus Dexter Percil, Head of Marketing for the SLTA.
Saint Lucia, the presenting sponsor of the Toronto Raptors’ Caribbean Heritage Night, will also bring the island’s spirit to Scotiabank Arena tonight when the Toronto Raptors take on the Miami Heat.
Saint Lucia will be featured throughout Scotiabank Arena for tonight’s game, with in-bowl LED displays, concourse signage and presenting partner acknowledgment. There’s also a four-week out-of-home ad campaign.
Other activations include illuminations in the colours of the Saint Lucian flag at landmarks including the CN Tower, the Brampton Clock and Niagara Falls.
