NEW YORK CITY — Hurtigruten has announced several ways for travellers to see the very best of Norway for less.
The cruise line, which specializes in Norway, has launched a Buy One, Get One Free flash sale, running from now until Feb. 21, 2025. The offer applies to select departures on the six-day Original Coastal Express sailing from Kirkenes to Bergen in Norway, between April through September 2025. Hurtigruten has operated this southbound itinerary since 1893.
In addition to the flash sale, Hurtigruten is also offering discounts for Wave Season, with up to 25% off its Original Coastal Express itineraries and up to 15% off its premium and all-inclusive Signature voyages: The North Cape Line and the Svalbard Line. These discounts run until April 30, 2025, for travel between April 2025 through March 2026 for Coastal Express departures, now through April 2026 for the North Cape Line, and May through September 2025 for the Svalbard Line.
To accommodate a growing number of solo travellers, Hurtigruten offers an “always-on” no single supplement for select sailings throughout the year. The available departures can be found on Hurtigruten’s dedicated solo traveler page.
Lastly, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Northern Lights Promise, Hurtigruten extended the travel period last year to start in mid-September and run through the end of March. The promise entitles full voyage guests who had the highly unlikely run of not seeing the Northern Lights during their cruise to receive a new cruise for free.
