Most recently, on Dec. 9, over 150 Direct Travel agents, I/Cs, head office staff and preferred suppliers took part in the company’s annual gala dinner at Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York Hotel, held in its legendary ballroom. Brian Robertson, President Canada of Direct Travel, served as emcee, announcing door prizes and handing out the grand prize of the night: a system-wide pass for two on Air Canada, won by Tina Ngotzamanis of Toronto.

Also present at the Toronto event were senior executives from Direct Travel’s U.S. headquarters, including Gerard Bellino, President of Leisure Travel, and John Coffman, CFO.

“This is an annual event for us,” said Stephen Smith, Direct Travel’s Senior Vice President, Leisure Strategy & Marketing. “It’s such a great opportunity to see friends and colleagues, and welcome new members of the team.”
