Porter Airlines to increase capacity on three Halifax routes

Porter inaugurates nonstop service between Montreal and Fort Myers

TORONTO — Porter is celebrating the launch of its new seasonal route between Montreal and Fort Myers.

Launched Nov. 29, 2024, the nonstop route between Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers departs 4x/weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

“We’re excited to bring nonstop service between Montreal and Fort Myers, making it easier for travellers to connect with Southwest Florida’s beautiful beaches and vibrant attractions,” says Edmond Eldebs, senior vice president and chief commercial officer, Porter Airlines. “The new route highlights Porter’s commitment to expanding our network while delivering an elevated experience for economy travellers.”

The new service is operated by Porter’s Embraer E195-E2 aircraft featuring no middle seats, free WiFi, complimentary beer and wine served in glassware, and free premium snacks.

Passengers can also enjoy the all-inclusive PorterReserve experience featuring fresh and healthy meals, pre-mixed cocktails, dedicated airport check-in, early boarding, enhanced legroom and more. These options are also available à la carte with PorterClassic fares.
