2026 MEDITERRANEAN HIGHLIGHTS
Star Clippers’ 2026 Mediterranean summer season features three new ports of call:
- Šibenik, Croatia: A picturesque town on the Adriatic Coast offering a tranquil alternative to Dubrovnik, with a culinary scene inspired by its fertile surroundings.
- Otranto, Italy: Located in Puglia, this easternmost Italian town is known for its white sand beaches and historic Aragonese Castle.
- Gytheo, Greece: A charming seaside town in southern Peloponnese that once served as the port for ancient Sparta.
The company will continue to offer exclusive experiences in Venice, one of the few cruise lines docking near St. Mark’s Square. Highlights include 11-day sailings between Venice and Rome or Athens and shorter three- to seven-night itineraries that explore nearby Croatia, Montenegro, and Slovenia.
SHORTER TRIPS & SPECIAL EVENTS
Travellers seeking shorter getaways will appreciate Star Clippers’ three- to five-night itineraries. Options include a five-night Rome-to-Rome sailing in July, a five-night Athens-to-Malta trip in October, and three-night round trips from Venice or Rome.
For racing enthusiasts, Royal Clipper will host special sailings tied to the Monaco Grand Prix. Guests can witness the trials on May 22 or the finals on May 24, 2026, during round-trip Nice sailings. Additionally, a September 26 itinerary includes a visit to the Voiles de Saint-Tropez regatta during its 25th anniversary celebrations.
GRAND VOYAGES
Star Clippers’ Grand Voyage itineraries allow guests to experience extended journeys through the Mediterranean, with sailings ranging from nine to 20 nights. These trips focus on cultural immersion, offering opportunities to explore UNESCO sites, sample local cuisines, and visit lesser-known destinations like Skiathos and Skopelos in Greece.
