MONTREAL — Turkish Airlines recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Montreal-Istanbul route.
With an ever-expanding fleet of 477 aircraft, Turkey’s national airline said it has been “steadily expanding its reach and connecting more passengers between Montreal and Istanbul every year.”
In its first year of operation, the airline carried over 43,000 passengers between the two cities.
The number of passengers has been increasing every year, reaching over 76,000 in 2024.
“Over the past 10 years, we have connected Montreal and Istanbul to nearly 770,000 travellers with three weekly flights,” said the carrier.
“Turkish Airlines’ operations over the past 10 years demonstrate our commitment and determination to the exceptional travel concept for which we are known worldwide, especially in Montreal,” added TK.
“We thank our passengers and partners for their continued support over the years and look forward to continuing our growth in delivering memorable travel experiences.”
