G in 3: Motivation, big sales and more with G Adventures’ David Green

The industry has had a banger of a year, and it’s safe to say travel is flourishing.

Events are back in full force, we’re all travelling more than ever, and our customers and clients are hungry for more enriching travel experiences.

We recently announced our 2025 FAM trip opportunities and we’ve had more applications than ever before, so we are now looking at some added opportunities for next year!

I’m so proud of my team. It’s been an incredibly busy year, we’ve just hit another record-breaking month in October and we are all excited for the year ahead.

This got me thinking about motivation. Motivation comes in many forms; it comes in feeling valued and recognized at the organization you are working for, as well as feeling a sense of purpose in what you are accomplishing each day.

It’s when you realize you are a part of something bigger than yourself, when you help to raise others up, change people’s lives through travel, and make the world a better place.

For all of us working in, and promoting, community tourism, we are fortunate to have this already built in, knowing that each time we send a traveller on a trip they are giving back to local people in the destination they are visiting.

Reward and appreciation are also a big part of feeling valued and hence motivated. It’s an exciting time for us here at G Adventures as we have just announced our Change Makers Challenge for 2025. I’m so excited that in 2025, our Change Makers will be earning their spaces at the GX Summit in mesmerizing Jordan, in partnership with the Jordanian Tourist Board and Royal Jordanian Airlines, with support from USAID Jordan.

Sweetening the incentive to change more people’s lives is our Cyber Sale which is also live now, so please don’t let your customers miss out. This year’s sale has a bigger variety of travel options than in previous years, with itineraries spanning the breadth of G Adventures’ portfolio of travel styles. These include trips from the new ‘Solo-ish Adventures’ travel style, which is specifically designed with solo travellers of all ages in mind, as well as a selection of getaways featured in the new ‘Geluxe’ collection of upgraded active adventures.

November is a massive month for all of us, especially during the Cyber Sale. To our valued travel agent friends, we have so many sweet deals, we truly hope we are keeping you motivated to promote G Adventures to your clients. Our customer satisfaction surveys are hitting record highs, and we continue to try to find new ways to reward your loyalty. Know that our absolute focus is always to support you – we can’t do what we do, without you.

Last but by no means least, we are absolutely pumped to be rewarding a group of our most loyal agents at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Toronto next week! It’s going to be a night full of fun, friendship and community, bringing partners together to celebrate our joint success. We’ll be sure to share some pics from the night!
