The Role

As an Expert Travel Consultant, you’ll design bespoke travel experiences that exceed our clients’ expectations. You’ll be the go-to expert for a diverse range of travel products, from luxury cruises to adventure tours and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities

– Provide concierge-level service to our valued clientele
– Design and sell a wide range of travel products, including tailor-made itineraries, packaged holidays, group travel, cruises, destination weddings, and honeymoons
– Book travel using various platforms, coordinating flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities
– Offer comprehensive pre-trip information and proactively suggest value-adding services
– Manage bookings from inquiry to post-trip follow-up
– Contribute to our supportive, collaborative team environment
– Continuously expand your expertise through ongoing education

Qualifications

– 5+ years of recent experience in Canadian retail travel agency sales
– Proven track record of $300,000+ annual sales
– TICO certification (required)
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficiency with travel booking systems and willingness to learn new technologies
– Detail-oriented with a talent for creative problem-solving
– Passion for travel and commitment to superior customer service
– Knowledge of QuickBooks (asset)
– Post-secondary education in Travel and Tourism or related field (asset)

Work Environment

– Full-time or part-time options available
– Typical hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; Saturday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (rotating)
– Schedule may vary based on business needs
– Location: 1822 Whites Road, Unit 26, Pickering, Ontario, L1V 4M1
