Seabourn announces additional 2026 Antarctica sailing

SEATTLE — Seabourn has announced an additional departure of its popular Antarctica expedition voyages aboard the Seabourn Venture due to popular demand.

An 11-day voyage departing March 10-21, 2026 has been added, providing yet another opportunity for guests to experience The Great White Continent in 2026. The new departure is available to book now.

“Exploring Antarctica in March offers a unique opportunity to witness the stunning landscapes as they transition into winter. This period is ideal for observing peak whale activity, with potential sightings of humpback whales and orcas, along with gentoo penguins and Antarctic fur seals,” said Robin West, Seabourn’s Vice President and General Manager of Expeditions.

Between November 2025 and march 2026, Seabourn Venture, along with sister ship Seabourn Pursuit, will offer a series of 11-, 13- and 21-day voyages to Antarctica. All voyages include a pre-cruise charter hotel stay in Buenos Aires and roundtrip charter flights to Ushuaia, from where the ship will depart.

Every Seabourn voyage to Antarctica offers included Zodiac outings and landings to join the ship’s Expedition Team as they walk and hike across untouched landscapes. Optional kayaking and submarine excursions will also be available.

Weather permitting, examples of locations the ship may visit include Lemaire Channel, Deception Island and Neko Harbour. In addition, guests receive a complimentary Helly Hansen PolarShield parka and WaterShield waterproof backpack.

Seabourn’s Antarctica expedition voyages will also offer the new ‘Image Masters’ program, a hands-on masterclass designed to enhance photography skills. The program will provide in-the-field instruction on photo composition, camera technique, editing and retouching, all led by an onboard nature photographer.

Launched in 2022, Seabourn Venture was designed and built for remote environments and features 30,000 square feet of deck space, indoor and outdoor guest areas with nearly 270-degree views, eight dining experiences, all-suite accommodations, SpaceX’s Starlink for enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity, and a 4K GSS Cineflex Camera mounted on the mast of the Constellation Lounge that broadcasts imagery from miles ahead on monitors throughout the ship and in guest suites.
