LONDON — Abercrombie & Kent’s Akorn Cruise Destination Management has announced a reorganization ofits cruise DMC division that includes a Canadian angle.
Better known as Akorn DMC, the A&K division is the world’s largest network of luxury destination management companies, with 55+ offices in more than 30 countries. Akorn DMC provides everything from shore excursions and transportation to event planning and VIP services to the world’s top cruise lines and luxury travel providers.
In a strategic reorganization that includes several key changes to leadership roles within the cruise DMC team, A&K has announced that Anthony Brent, previously based in the Australia office, has relocated to the U.S. to focus on building the cruise business in the U.S. and Canada, both key markets for cruise DMC operations.
Rebecca Osman, SVP DMCs at A&K, says the moves underscore Akorn Cruise DMC’s commitment to assembling a world-class team to drive its cruise DMC business forward. The company plans to focus on expanding its cruise DMC offerings in Europe and North America, building upon its established presence in other key markets.
