Turkish Airlines adds weekend flight between Toronto and Istanbul

TORONTO — Turkish Airlines is expanding its services between Toronto and Istanbul for the summer season.

From June 8 through to Sept. 28, 2024, the airline has introduced a flight every Saturday in response to increased demand for travel between the two cities.

The decision to expand marks a significant milestone for Turkish Airlines, made possible with the support of the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA). According to the airline, the CTA’s assistance has been instrumental in increasing flight capacity between Toronto and Istanbul.

Turkish Airlines currently has a fleet of 457 aircraft (passenger and cargo) that flies to 347 worldwide destinations (294 international and 53 domestic in 130 countries). For more information go to www.turkishairlines.com.
