Envoyage celebrates successful Worldwide 2024 conference

SANTIAGO — Envoyage has wrapped its highly successful Worldwide 2024 event.

Earlier this month some 300 travel professionals from Canada, the U.S., Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand gathered in Santiago, Chile to celebrate, learn, and set the future course of travel advisory services, says Danielle Galloway, Global Managing Director of Envoyage.

“Every journey is a story waiting to be told, and here is ours,” she said to cheers.

The event’s theme was ‘For Every Journey’. Envoyage was announced as the new principal brand for Flight Centre Travel Group’s Independent division earlier this year.

Worldwide 2024 featured panels on navigating change and the impacts of over-tourism, as well as workshops on wellness and cross-cultural business insights. Keynote speakers included Global Brand Strategist Nicole Hatherly, who spoke to attendees about the importance and impact of defining one’s personal brand and applying human intelligence in business. Attendees also heard from Dr. Craig Challen, who recounted the cave rescue mission he navigated in Thailand in 2018, saving a team of young teen soccer players. The rescue made headlines worldwide.

Platinum partners TTC Tour Brands, Hoteles Xcaret, AMAWaterways, Air New Zealand, and Cover-More, as well as another 45 partners from around the world, connected with Envoyage members at the event.

Air Canada’s Manager of Global Accounts Matt Djorsev had this to say: “Worldwide 2024 was an unparalleled conference, brimming with energy, engagement, and enthusiasm. Air Canada and ACV were honoured to partake, relishing the chance to connect with numerous advisors and agency owners, gain insights into their businesses, and explore avenues for collaboration. We extend our gratitude to Envoyage for being an exceptional partner throughout, propelling us forward together. With such partnerships and the momentum gained, we eagerly anticipate a bright future ahead for all involved. Looking ahead, we’re excited to see

where Worldwide 2025 will take us!”

At the ‘Santiago Sparkle’ gala dinner, held at Botánico Centro de Eventos, overlooking the city of Santiago and Andes Mountains, some 13 top achievers and standout members were honoured at Worldwide’s new award program, ‘The Envys’. On the final night, guests partied at Le Virgen in Santiago’s Bellavista neighbourhood for a Farewell Fiesta.

Envoyage Canada’s VP & GM, Anita Emilio, said Worldwide “stands out in the Independent sector as a truly unique event, uniting travel entrepreneurs and suppliers worldwide to collaborate, network, and shape the future of travel. The overwhelming response to Worldwide reaffirms our commitment to driving excellence in the travel industry, fostering lasting partnerships, and creating unparalleled opportunities for our network members and supplier partners. Advisors are already speculating on the location for next year’s event, but they’ll just have to stay tuned!”
