ACV’s VP Nino Montagnese has an update for agents

MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations has new and noteworthy updates for travel advisors as 2024 unfolds.

The latest communiqué from ACV’s Vice President, Nino Montagnese, outlines many of the company’s key initiatives for the year.

“The upcoming year is filled with ambitious plans, making it another exciting period for all of us at Air Canada Vacations,” says Montagnese.

GROUP QUOTING TOOL

First up: ACV’s launch of its new Group Quoting Tool. Making its debut last month, the tool is designed to enhance efficiency and save time, giving travel advisors the capability to create and manage their group quotes.

“This milestone marks a significant achievement for the company,” says Montagnese. Agents who want to familiarize themselves with the Group Quoting Tool can check out this quick video.

EUROPE BREAKFAST SEMINARS, AND NEW PRODUCT

This month ACV will begin rolling out its series of informative Europe breakfast seminars

Both Air Canada Vacations and Air Canada will share highlights of the 2024 product lineup along with new programs for Europe, plus ACV’s Travel Agent Toolkit.

Montagnese also wants agents to know that ACV has new product are on the horizon, including upcoming tours in Australia and Asia.

In addition, he says, ACV is expanding its offering with Tulum as a new sun destination, and increasing capacity to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Grenada: “Stay tuned for further details as we unveil our summer flight schedule.”

ACV’s TRAVEL ADVISORY BOARD AND MORE

ACV has also brought back its Travel Advisory Board, “due to popular demand,” says Montagnese. “If you are passionate industry professionals ready to collaborate with our team to improve our travel offerings, services, and overall customer experience, please click here to apply for this unique opportunity.”

Meanwhile ACV is in the development phase for the Air Canada Vacations B2B site. Says Montagnese: “This initiative will enhance your capabilities when booking our shared customers. Stay tuned for further details to be unveiled soon.”

He adds that last year, the introduction of ACV@Home, a dedicated support program for Independent Travel Advisors, “achieved remarkable success, leading to significant growth.”

ACV has hired Tina Kensett as an Area Sales Manager for the ACV@Home program, overseeing the Western Canada region.

Montagnese also reminds agents that Air Canada Vacations officially expanded its Aeroplan offering with the addition of new destinations, giving Aeroplan Members more ways to earn when booking with Air Canada Vacations.
