TORONTO — Brazil has launched a new platform from which citizens of Canada, the United States and Australia can obtain an electronic visa to enter the country.
Developed by the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the new platform was designed with the intention of simplifying the eVisa process, making it convenient, fast and easy for travellers.
The Electronic Visa comes at a cost of US$80.90 per person and allows for multiple entries. It will have the same validity period as conventional visas for: Canadians (5-year period); Americans (10-year period); and Australians (5-year period).
Canadians, Americans and Australians must apply for the document for arrivals scheduled from Jan. 10, 2024 onwards. Travellers can take all the processes online.
