KTO getting ready to host ‘Green Korea’ event at the ROM

TORONTO — Korea Tourism Organization gearing up for a special event taking place at Royal Ontario Museum.

The KTO will host ‘Green Korea’, an evening of mindfulness, meditation and delicious Korean vegan cuisine, at the ROM on Nov. 29.

The event kicks off at 7 p.m. with a focus on sustainability, ecotourism and veganism, as these travel habits continue to grow throughout South Korea.

“KTO is bringing the greener side of Korea directly to Toronto,” says the tourism board. “Green Korea will be an evening of Korean culture and fun that aims to educate and inform guests about this rising movement in Korea which is also a growing trend important to the hearts of many Canadian travellers.”

The event will also provide a chance for guests to discover a true taste of Korean culture, not only through authentic Korean vegan cuisine but with a Zen meditation experience, calligraphy station, traditional Korean musical performance and more, all right here in Canada, says the KTO.

The KTO’s website can be found here.
