TORONTO — Copa Airlines is increasing service from Montreal and Toronto to Panama.
The additional capacity builds upon the recent expansion of the international air transport agreement between Canada and Panama, contributing to the development and commercial exchange that will benefit both countries.
With the expanded agreement, passengers will enjoy more flight options and seamless connections to more than 60 destinations in Central America, South America and the Caribbean through Copa’s hub in Panama City.
Starting in March 2024, there’ll be additional weekly frequencies, which will increase again to daily service starting on May 20, 2024.
“Copa airlines is proud to be the leading Latin American carrier providing daily flights as we continue to fulfill our commitment to expanding flight options and enhancing travel experiences for our passengers,” said Laura Marin, Sales Manager of Copa Airlines in Canada.
“The daily service will allow our passengers to take advantage of the best connections to Latin America and the Caribbean. When visiting Panama, passengers can also enjoy two amazing destinations without incurring any additional airfare, through our Stopover Program in Panama,” added Marin.
