TORONTO — David Green, Managing Director for Canada, G Adventures, says G Adventures is “delighted” that e-visa services for Canadian nationals travelling to India have been restored.
As reported yesterday by wire service The Associated Press and other news outlets, the electronic visa process is back in order, according to an Indian foreign ministry official.
“G Adventures is delighted to see the news that tourist visas for Canadians travelling to India have been restored,” he said.
Green added that while India “still has a long way to go to get back to pre-pandemic travel numbers, [it has] made great strides over the past year, with numbers in 2023 surpassing 2022 by 131%.
Green said G Adventures is “excited to be changing more lives through travel with our agency partners in this stunning and colourful destination once again.”
G Adventures’ Cyber Sale, announced earlier this month and running through Nov. 30, is the company’s biggest sale of the year. Travellers can save up to 30% off hundreds of trips, and Green said the “vast majority” of G Adventures’ India trips offer discounts as part of the sale.
