Harris set to depart Ensemble as Butzlaff, Ransom come aboard

TORONTO — Ensemble has announced several executive appointments and organizational changes, including the departure of David Harris.

In keeping with Ensemble’s post-acquisition strategy, Harris, who led Ensemble through the pandemic and the acquisition process and most recently served as Executive Chairman, will transition out of his role.

Meanwhile Beth Butzlaff has joined Ensemble as Senior VP Global Partner Relations. Butzlaff was most recently VP Global Partnership Engagement at Global Travel Collection, a division of Internova Travel Group. Prior to that she was VP Global Partner Relations at Virtuoso for 14 years.

With Butzlaff’s arrival, Jennifer Dzialo, Senior VP of Partner Relations, has moved to Ensemble’s parent company Navigatr Group to support growth across all Navigatr brands.

Shelly Ransom has joined Ensemble as VP of New Agency Business Development. Ransom was most recently at Hyatt where she led the Distribution team managing partnership negotiations and strategy with agencies, OTAs and tour operators. In her 30+ years in the travel industry Ransom has also held positions at Starwood, Wyndham and Marriott.  She also spent 10 years+ on the agency side, most notably at AAA.

Joining Ransom in this new area is Ron Bentley who will focus on agency acquisition. Bentley has most recently served as VP of Member Relations.

Mark Stubbert will assume the role as VP of Member Relations. Stubbert previously held positions focusing on advisor services at Travel Edge Network and Carlson Wagonlit.
