ONBOARD SILVER NOVA — To travel advisors familiar with Silversea’s Dawn, Moon or Muse – where port side typically mirrors starboard – the revolutionary asymmetrical architecture of the 728-passenger, super-luxury Silver Nova feels eminently spacious and open to the world beyond.
Exploring Silver Nova top to bottom while it berths alongside Trieste, my first impression is its vast swaths of glass – blending interior places with exterior surrounds – create a sensation of total immersion, of being ensconced within the heart of this lively port city, rather than on the outside, looking in.
Built with over 4,000 square metres of glass, guests see few obstacles blocking the views.
The pool deck – the largest in Silversea’s fleet – faces transparent views. Glass walls enhance elevators, the saunas, the Otium Spa’s indoor pool, the two-storey theatre, and the soaring atrium of The Shelter, Nova’s Champagne Bar.
The interior layout – besides being decidedly residential with luxe bespoke elements – is designed in a horizontal layout that ultimately allows greater enhancements in public and private spaces.
On first glance, Silver Nova is destined to impress.
