TORONTO — Tourism New Zealand is extending an official invitation to travellers around the world to visit the destination with the launch of a brand new global campaign.
Called ‘If You Seek,’ the global campaign – Tourism New Zealand’s first post-pandemic – includes 18 short films and digital content that capture the country’s people and places. The campaign is now live across YouTube, Connected TV, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Spotify, in addition to other platforms.
“Aotearoa New Zealand is a place for those who pursue meaningful connections with culture, people and the environment,” says René de Monchy, Chief Executive of Tourism New Zealand. “Those curious manuhiri (visitors) are rewarded with a rich experience of our beautiful country and are met with manaakitanga – a deep expression of hospitality and reciprocal understand or connection. This is especially relevant for curious Canadian travellers as New Zealand’s border is now officially open to international visitors.”
New Zealand reopened its borders to international visitors from visa waiver countries, including Canada, on May 1, 2022, two months earlier than originally planned. Air New Zealand resumed nonstop service between Vancouver-Auckland in February 2022.
