VIEUX FORT, SAINT LUCIA — Saint Lucia’s Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa and Serenity at Coconut Bay have brought back their offer of free travel insurance with stays of five nights or longer.
The sister properties have also announced that as part of their ongoing Paradise Protection Protocols initiative, staff vaccination rates have reached 80% at Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa and 90% at the adults-only Serenity at Coconut Bay.

The insurance program covers medical and quarantine expenses as well as travel protection, and is free for international arriving guests and all bookings made through Oct. 31, 2021, for travel through June 30, 2022. The offer applies to bookings made either directly with the resort, with a travel agent or a tour operator.
Guests staying fewer than five nights have the option to purchase the insurance within 24 hours of arrival on resort for US$39 per person.
Medical coverage of up to $100,000 includes assistance and expenses for COVID-19 diagnosis and illnesses as well as pre-existing conditions along with quarantine expenses and medical evacuation. The policy’s travel protection covers trip interruption coverage of up to $2,000 per person as well as trip delay and lost baggage compensation.

Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa offers up to 65% savings with Premium All-Inclusive rates starting at $352 per room, per night, double occupancy, for travel between Oct. 1, 2021 through Dec. 20, 2021.
