Insight Vacations Canada has named two new sales managers, according to president Cris David. Sherri Bourne to has been named Sales Manager – Atlantic Canada and Ottawa region, and Cristina Torres Sales Manager – GTA and Northern Ontario, both effective immediately. Bourne has worked in the travel industry for almost 20 years, with 16 years at the helm of Sears Travel in St. John’s as a travel consultant and branch manager. During this time at Sears Travel, Bourne was part of the ‘Millionaires Club’ as a top seller for four straight years. She comes to her new role with extensive knowledge of the industry, passion and enthusiasm for sales, service and travel, and will cultivate many relationships with agencies and consumers from her specific regions for Insight Vacations Canada. Beginning her travel career at CWT in 1999, Torres has been in the industry for 16 years with stints at American Express Travel, including Centurion Travel, and other high-end luxury travel agencies. Up until recently, Torres spent the last four years as a Sales Manager at Contiki Holidays – a sister brand under parent company, The Travel Corporation Canada. In her new role, Torres will be responsible for overseeing sales, as well as nurturing relationships with agents and agencies from across the GTA and Northern Ontario for Insight Vacations Canada.
