The site of the new Argyle International Airport that is in its final stages of construction is scheduled to open the end of 2015. The new airport will offer nonstop jet service from North America, Central and South America, and Europe to St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The new airport is the largest development project ever undertaken in SVG and cost US$240 million.
